These are images of my childhood and visiting my grandparents who lived in Paradise, California—fishing at Paradise Lake and the Feather River, Whiskey Flats; trips to the Honeyrun Bridge. Although I do not live in Paradise, my aunt and cousins still do. Their lives and homes were devastated by the fire. These pieces are my reflection on childhood, family, and global warming.

The line drawing is letterpress printed, while the color is done with a technique called kitchen table lithography. The colors of the thread and ink are meant to represent before and after the fire.
