I examine women’s suffrage and women in unions in the artists book To Vote as We Work. Looking at lesser known women in the suffrage movement, I focused on women who belonged or were known to work in the trade unions. Many of the women belonged to socialist organizations as well. Sketches of 12 women are sewed together in the form of a one sheet wonder and are meant to be hung on the wall.
